from August 1, 2020, it is possible to pay for accommodation services using the Polish Tourist Voucher. Such a Bon is received by parents and can use it to cover the rest of their child.
What do I need to do to receive a Tourist Voucher?
- A voucher is an electronic document. It has a unique 16-digit number and is a cash benefit for individual children up to the age of 18.
- The holder of the voucher is the Parent of the child, who must first activate it on the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) ZUS in order to be able to use it.
- Activation of the voucher is possible from August 1, 2020.
- During activation, you need to provide an e-mail address to which information from ZUS about the activation of the voucher will come along with the code necessary to make the payment and the phone number to which the SMS used during the payment process will arrive.
ATTENTION! To activate the code, it is NECESSARY to have an active profile on PUE ZUS. If you do not have a profile on PUE ZUS, you need to register.
How can I pay with a tourist voucher?
- Payment by voucher is possible from August 1, 2020 to March 31, 2022, provided that the voucher has previously been activated by the Voucher Provider (parent or legal guardian of the child)
- When you activated the travel voucher, you received a special payment code to the e-mail address provided during registration. It is necessary to make the payment.
- When paying for a stay at Hotel Lidia, indicate to the employee what amount you want to pay with a voucher and dictate a unique code for payment.
- An employee of the Hotel will enter your payment code and amount into the system — if everything is successful and the amount you want to pay is not more than the amount of available funds on the voucher, you will receive an SMS on the phone number specified when activating the voucher with information: what amount will be charged and which entity (Hotel Lidia Sp. z o.o. Sp.k.) charges this fee. If everything is correct, provide the hotel employee with a one-time PIN which is also included in the text of the SMS. After entering the PIN by our employee, the payment was made.
What can I pay with a Polish Tourist Voucher?
According to the Polish Tourist Bon Act, this is a cash benefit to children up to the age of 18, which can be used for:
- payment of the accommodation service,
- paying for participation in a tourist event lasting at least 24 hours or including overnight stay.
At Hotel Lidia you can use a voucher to pay for the cost of the stay for the child — the beneficiary of the voucher.
The voucher can also pay for packages in which children rest free of charge — it is only important that the package also applies to the stay of the child to whom this voucher is issued.
With a voucher you can also pay an advance payment for a stay at the Hotel — then we need the code number for payment and a one-time PIN received by SMS.
However, you cannot pay with a voucher:
- treatments in the Amber SPA
- meals or drinks ordered additionally in hotel bars and restaurants.
It is not necessary to immediately spend the full amount of the voucher — it can be paid several times. It is important to know at the time of payment how much more money is available on a given ticket. Only the holder of the voucher has this knowledge — the hotel employee making the payment does not see how many funds are available.
IMPORTANT! However, the system will not make payments if the amount is higher than the funds held on Bona.
