The port is located on a canal that connects Lake Resko Przymorskie with the Baltic Sea and has been operating since 1975. The administration belongs to the Maritime Office in Slupsk with the help of the local petty officer. It is the perfect place to see moored fishing boats, carriages with nets and watch the fishermen working, or even buy fresh fish straight from the catch. Cruises are also available for those willing - a great attraction for both adults and children.
Eastern breakwater and observation deck — peaceful walks with sea view
Right next to the port is the Eastern Breakwater — a concrete structure that protects the coast and at the same time is an excellent vantage point of the Baltic Sea. A walk along the breakwater allows you to observe sea birds, and under favorable conditions - even seals resting on stones. Not far from the beach entrance there is an observation deck with benches and lighting, ideal for sunrises or sunsets.
Beach and health path — active rest close to nature
The sandy and wide beach in Dźwirzyn is known for its clean water, gentle descent and the surroundings of dune pine forests — an ideal place to relax with your family. Along the shore runs a 1.6-kilometer health path with 15 exercise stations - a great option for people who want to combine a walk with physical activity.
Lake Resko Przymorskie — a water oasis of nature
Formerly it was a sea bay, which over time was cut off from the Baltic by a naturally formed spit about 300 meters wide. Today, Resko Przymorskie is a quiet coastal lake, connected to the sea by an artificially dug shipping channel — just in the place where the port is located. It is an excellent place for walking, observing nature and fishing — the lake is famous for its abundance of fish: pike, pike perch, ropes and many others.
Rope park “Koala” and dune “Frying pan” — nature and adrenaline
In Dźwirzyn there is a family rope park “Koala” — with routes of varying difficulty and attractions for children and adults, such as rope descents, footbridges and piers. It is also worth visiting the unique wandering dune “Pan” - a movable sand formation that slides under the influence of the wind, surrounded by pedestrian and bicycle footbridges and viewpoints.
Sports and Recreation Centre — a versatile sports complex
The modern facility offers a sports room, gym, fitness room, tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), basketball, volleyball courts, as well as mini golf and bike rental. The center promotes the activity of the whole family, regardless of the weather.
Why visit Dźwirzyno?
Dźwirzyno combines the natural beauty of the coast, calm atmosphere and local character of the fishing port with attractions for active people and families with children. The seaport is not only infrastructure, but also a great opportunity to observe the fishing tradition and participate in a boat trip — even when the weather fails. Educational paths, cycle routes and the beach form the basis for a successful holiday by the sea.
